YouTube Music improves music listening services on desktop

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Service streaming Google’s music company, YouTube Music, improves music listening services on applications for desktop ​​​​​by allowing users to download music and listen to it when not connected to the internet.

Previously, YouTube Music only allowed users to listen to music offline through the application mobile, but then it will also be provided in the application for desktop.

According to a GizChina broadcast on Sunday (31/3), application users for desktop Later you can even save a music playlist to listen to offline.

YouTube Music has tested features in the application for desktop for some time. However, only a small number of users were part of the test.

The feature now appears to be rolling out to more users, but the rollout may be gradual.

Some users have already received a notification message saying “New! Download music for offline listening.” The message appears on the side tab “Library” or “Library” in web applications.

If the user receives the message, the YouTube Music application will be activated desktop-It has been used to download songs so that they can be enjoyed offline.

Here’s the tracklist for Beyoncé’s new album ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’

Beyoncé has revealed the track listing for her upcoming new album ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’, just two days ahead of its release.

‘Cowboy Carter’ is set to be released on Friday (March 29), the pop icon’s eighth studio album, and the second installation of a believed trilogy project that began with 2022’s ‘Renaissance’.

Tracks included on the album are previous singles ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages’, as well as ‘Jolene’, which Dolly Parton had previously confirmed Beyoncé had recorded a cover of.

Also listed are songs named ‘Dolly P’ and ‘Smoke Hour Willie Nelson’, apparent tributes to the greats of the country genre, as well as ‘The Linda Martell Show’, a reference to one of the first successful Black country artists.

Last week, Queen Bey revealed the artwork for the album, after having revealed its name a month earlier.

The artwork sees the singer in a white cowboy hat with long platinum blonde locks while wearing a red, white and blue leather outfit holding an American flag and wearing a “Country Carter” sash while sitting on a white horse.

Prince’s music will reportedly be used in a new jukebox musical film

Prince’s music will reportedly be used in a new jukebox musical film.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the project has apparently been in development since 2018. Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is set to produce, whilst Bryan Edward Hill (Titans, Ash vs. Evil Dead) is attached to write the script.

The film is also set to be distributed by Universal Pictures. No details about a release date or casting have been given so far.

The singer’s 1985 film ‘Purple Rain’ is also reported to be adapted into its own stage musical. It will be based on the original screenplay which was written by Albert Magnoli and William Blinn, and is set to be produced by Orin Wolf, who previously adapted the Tony-winning stage version of ‘The Band’s Visit’.

The producers said to Variety: “We can’t think of a more fitting tribute than to honor Prince and the Purple Rain legacy with this stage adaptation of the beloved story.”
